Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express (2006)

Second Time’s the Charm for Murder on the Orient Express

This is a third person point and click adventure game based on the works of Agatha Christie. Arguably her most famous work is adapted – Murder on the Orient Express, featuring Detective Hercule Poirot. The game is designed by Lee Sheldon, and features multiple endings so that people familiar with the book can be surprised. Murder on the Orient Express got much better reviews than the first game (second time’s charm).

The game comes in an extra thick, but otherwise standard, small box to accommodate the inclusion of the original novel. I must say – I always thought that Agatha Christie was for old ladies, but after reading this and And Then There Were None, I can admit that I was dead wrong. She was a magnificent writer, even from the perspective of a non-mystery-fan like me, and it’s cool to have games based on her works.
